Providing the highest quality recruitment services to a global client base, Amida specialise in white collar technical positions both contract and permanent.
We are now looking for a talented and results oriented Consultant / Senior Consultant or Principal Consultant to take over and further develop the Mining & Resources desk.

Reporting to our Director and working on an established desk, you will have the autonomy and influence to drive the strategy and direction of this sector.

We offer a flexible working location where you can work from the location of your choice within Australia, or you may want to be based in our Sydney head office with harbour front views on King Street Wharf right next to Barangaroo, working alongside a highly experienced Director.
You will be essential to the ongoing growth and development of the business as you identify and source potential candidates, clients and market opportunities.

We have a relaxed working environment which is non KPI driven and don't consider ourselves to have a corporate or salesy culture.

The ideal candidate will have previous white collar recruitment experience in the mining / resources sector however we will look at candidates outside this range as well.

We are looking for someone who possesses the following:
Confident, outgoing and positive personality Demonstrated ability to take the initiative Highly developed communication skills – both written and oral Attention to detail and superior organisation skills Professional demeanor Strong knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel essential Diploma or Tertiary qualified preferred but not essential Sample Duties:
Identify and source candidates using various sourcing methodology (LinkedIn, Seek, Database etc.)
Manage the relationship between the candidates, client and the Director/Team Research, discover and obtain current market and sales opportunities Prepare and co-ordinate adverts/marketing with appropriate technical writing via our media channels Provide database and account management support Screen and interview candidates (phone and face to face) Liaise with clients regarding candidates This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and motivated individual to take their career further and work alongside a highly motivated and very successful Director.
