The purpose of the role is to lead tertiary level MRI imaging service's with expert managerial and clinical knowledge using high level communication skills. Support best practice and build strategic direction for MRI imaging services at a Health Service, hospital and professional level for TPCH, RBWH, STARS and Redcliffe Medical Imaging Departments. Advocate for and influence matters on MRI services for using negotiation and conflict management skills with relevant stakeholders. Develop and lead clinical and professional best practice and excellence within MRI services that ensure clinical and professional standards are met in accordance. Lead and influence clinical and professional best practice and excellence within MRI service at a state-wide level. Lead, promote and implement new, emerging or novel solutions within MRI to deliver best practice care for patients utilising MRI services. Lead, promote and support research for all staff within TPCH Medical Imaging and through the MNH MRI Community of Practise.
