The Quality Control Engineer provides QC set-up and support in tendering and execution phases.Oversee fulfilment of contractual and regulatory requirements to maximize profitability and customer satisfactionCapture lessons learned to continually improve execution processes.Elaborates proposals for improvement in approaches, methods, procedures and processes in the own fieldHandles communication with direct colleagues and the business about progress and eventual roadblocksContributes to project as a team memberWork cross-functionally with engineering, sourcing, commercials, and quality to ensure compliance and identify opportunity of improvementExpedite/coordinate the gathering of certificates for presentation to the customerAssist with tracking and management of NC productsEnsures that all aspects of Quality are maintained in line with the company Quality PolicyCoordinate InspectionsComplete additional quality responsibilities as allocatedDegree in Science or EngineeringMin. 3 years experience in the industry &/or 2 years in Quality/Quality ControlThorough understanding of manufacturing drawings and specificationsKnowledge of current industry standardsKnowledge of requirements associated with the control of monitoring and measuring devices.Ability to handle multiple issues / priorities while working towards agreed schedules & deadlinesFamiliar with MS office and OracleBrunel is a recruitment and flexible workforce solution provider which connects talented people with opportunities throughout Australasia and around the world.
