Organisational ProfileGEGAC is an Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation based in Bairnsdale, Victoria.
Consisting of about 160 staff, GEGAC is a Not-for-Profit organisation that delivers holistic services in the areas of Primary Health, Social Services, Elders & Disability, and Early Childhood Education.
GEGAC advocates for the self-determination of the Aboriginal community by prioritising services that enhance social, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing, with culture at the heart of everything we do.
Position PurposeWorking within the Strategy and Compliance Division and reporting to the Quality and Compliance Manager, the Quality, Safety and Risk Officer will contribute to the team's responsibility of promoting safety, assessing and mitigating organisational and operational risk, and embedding a culture of continuous quality improvement across all areas of service delivery within the organisation.
Further, the role will support embedding Aboriginal cultural values across the organisation's Quality Governance framework and systems to honour our culture while driving excellence in quality and risk management.
