The Quality and Data Officer plays a key role in the information and implementation of CRAICCHS data governance framework, policy and standards.
This role is integral to supporting the business in the implementation, maintenance and administration of critical quality systems.
This role will strengthen CRAICCHS data systems, coordinate the data collection and evaluation and assist with frameworks for quality measurement.
This involves data analysis and cleansing, developing, promoting and embedding data governance policies, procedures, standards, guidelines, and related documentation across the organisation, cross-team collaboration with an emphasis on innovation and continuous improvement.
As a key member of the team, you will assist in developing and maintaining reporting solutions that align with operational and strategic needs.
You will also provide essential support for the company's Quality Management and Information System/s, including ensuring that key performance indicators (KPIs) and other performance reports are accurately developed, maintained, and delivered.
Your expertise will help streamline processes and improve the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our management systems.

Work / life balance with 8.00am to 5.00pm work shifts Monday to Thursday and 8.00am to 3.00pm on Fridays.
Some reasonable overtime may be required for events and programs occurring outside of normal working hours.

About CRAICCHS: Cherbourg Regional Aboriginal and Islander Community Controlled Health Services (CRAICCHS) is an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community controlled and managed organisation, controlled by community members through a locally elected Board.

Key Duties: The Duties will be diverse and although not limited to, will include:
Assist with the coordination of data, outcomes, and evaluation initiatives across CRAICCHS programs and services.
Assist with the coordination with the reporting and data tools to support service planning, advocacy, and compliance.
Contribute to data aggregation and analysis processes to ensure information is safely managed and shared appropriately.
Collect and collate data from training and health care services at different levels of the healthcare system.
Create and present quality reports and data flows to support ongoing reports.
Prepare standardised data sets to support analytics.
Consider population diversity and health inequality and apply culturally relevant and ethical approaches when identifying population health needs.
Work to agreed priorities, outcomes, time constraints and assigned resources.
Oversee projects and be the lead with a range of different stakeholders.
Perform other duties as requested by your line manager that are reasonably within your capacity and capability.
Mentor teams on data collection processes and support knowledge management systems.
Maintain high professional conduct and actively contribute to team morale.
Undertake report building and data analysis as required.
Any other duties as directed by the Practice Coordinator which are appropriate to the position and organisational needs within the scope of your role, qualifications and experience.
Qualifications and Experience Required: The successful applicant will need to be able to demonstrate:
Demonstrated awareness of Commonwealth Key Performance Indicators.
Demonstrated experience in collecting data, analysing data, identifying trends and patterns, and implementing improvements to drive quality performance.
Experience in the running of multiple reporting datasets, analysing and interpreting health data with emphasis on accuracy, auditing, and integrity for health development reporting.
Experience in working with and interpreting health or health-related data (including mental health, and preferably health service and/or outcome data).
Experience in quantitative data collection, analysis, and interpretation, including presentation of outcomes in Microsoft Office suite of packages.
Highly Desirable: Experience in live reports and dashboards, insights analysis, and supporting the creation of new data models.
Knowledge and understanding of research designs and data collection methods used in health research.
Highly developed report writing skills and interpersonal skills.
Developed analytical, investigation and translational skills, including those required to work with the business to create performance and outcomes measurement reports.
