Duties Standard lab-based role, performing quality control testing in the biochemistry labMaintenance, testing, stock take, tasks by allocated by Team LeaderEnsure sample details are accurate and logged in appropriately; following up with customers where necessary.Ensure that all records are completed, signed of and entered onto LIMS in accordance with approved procedures, including records for standards and controls.Complete all documentation according to GDP approved procedures and processes.Filed and archived department records in accordance with approved procedures.Ensure equipment and facilities are maintained and calibrated in accordance with approved proceduresSkills and ExperienceMust hold a current Degree in Science/ChemistryQualified ChemistExcellent verbal communication and collaboration skillsAble to pick up things quicklyKnowledge and experience of the code of GMP and GLPAbility to use complex laboratory instrumentation and follow complex test proceduresKnowledge of Widows based software and able to work unsupervisedAbility to manage time to ensure testing/activities are completed in a timely mannerCultureAlthough a large, global company, they are able to provide a family-like culture and prides itself in improving the lives of others.Why this opportunity is right for youThis is a Full-time 6-month contract opportunity.
