Job Description of Agile Project Manager in Perth: Facilitate Agile ceremonies for various distributed streams (technical product delivery & DevOps onsite/offshore) including:
Sprint planning Backlog grooming Daily stand-ups Sprint retrospectives Sprint reviews/showcases Release planning Encourage collaboration and proactively seek opportunities to improve collaboration between distributed teams.
Proactively plan and collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of services for the designated products and projects.
Assist with internal and external communication by transparently radiating information, especially relative to historical team metrics, progress towards sprint and release goals, and team capacity.
Manage release plans, iteration plans, and status reporting for the designated projects.
Assist the team with making appropriate commitments to tasks.
Proactively identify and remove blockers, limit work in progress, and prevent distractions.
Facilitate frequent retrospectives, sharing metrics to identify and implement improvements.
Lead agile projects from the initial project backlog creation and planning activities through demonstration and release deployment, with responsibility for all aspects of the team's productivity for all phases of the project.
Lead risk and issue identification and mitigation activities with the project team, including escalating those in a proactive and professional fashion when appropriate.
Ensure timely and accurate communication and distribution of project information to all appropriate team members and stakeholders.
Identify differences in understanding and issues as they arise and elevate them to the team for resolution, or to management if needed.
Manage Sprints - keeping order and ensuring process, delivery, and priorities are accurate and delivered on time.
Work with Product Owners to ensure that testing and feedback is completed in a timely manner and meets the Sprint timelines.
Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and encourage self-management.
Train, mentor, coach, and help set up fit-for-purpose agile delivery models and behaviors.
Drive adoption and readiness of proposed changes.
Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.
