What you will do We are looking for a Purchasing/Procurement Project Manager who will proactively drive the purchasing activities in various cross-functional projects including but not limited to product projects, operational projects, and special taskforce projects.
Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
You will oversee and drive project activities from start to end and ensure that purchasing targets are met in alignment with Volvo's processes.
You are part of a cross-functional project team and act as the Purchasing 'voice' in the project through collaboration with the whole Purchasing organization and suppliers.
It is a developing role where you will act with agility and flexibility in driving the purchasing deliverables on QDCF-TSR (Quality, Delivery, Cost, Feature, Technology, Sustainability, and Risk) in the projects.
You will organize supplier involvement in project activities.
Your future team In this position, you will be part of the Automotive Purchasing team and report to the Head of Group Trucks Purchasing. We are an agile & diverse team of Buyers, Supplier Quality Engineers, and Project Managers. With the support of a strong global organization, we strive to get the best out of our local suppliers to ensure we build the best trucks in the country. We focus on quality, delivery, cost, features, technology, sustainability, and risk management (QDCFTSR). We develop the relationship with our suppliers for us to be their number one partner of choice.

In this role, you'll bring extensive experience as a Buyer and a desire to transition into project management, along with strong business acumen. A passion for manufacturing and understanding how things work together is essential. The ideal candidate is open-minded, adaptable to change, and capable of navigating uncertainties. We're looking for someone with excellent communication and networking skills who will thrive in a collaborative team environment, managing multiple activities with a target-oriented approach and a proactive, accountable attitude.
