THE ROLE Reporting to the Wellness & Hygiene Manager, the role of Public Area Cleaner (Wellness & Hygiene) is a full-time position located in Brisbane.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day presentation and overall aesthetic appearance of our beautiful Scape assets in Brisbane.
Key responsibilities include: Daily cleaning of public areas, including using a carpet cleaning machine and floor scrubbing machine in common rooms, lounges, theatre, outdoor terraces, gym, and laundry.
Being fully aware of health and safety obligations.
Working hours will generally be Mon – Fri, starting between 6am and 8am, with occasional weekend work as required.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE We are seeking enthusiastic self-starters with the following skills and experience: High attention to detail.
Ability to prioritise and multitask.
Ability to work in a team or individually.
Ability to work with and relate to young adults while maintaining professional and cultural sensitivity.
1-2 years' experience as a public area cleaner in a large commercial environment or room attendant in a 4 – 5 star hotel environment.
Experience using large machinery, including carpet cleaner and floor scrubber.
