We offer not just a bed and roof, but a unique experience and a safe environment to help students make the most of their studies.THE ROLEReporting to the Wellness & Hygiene Manager, the role of Public Area Cleaner (Wellness & Hygiene) is a full-time position located in Brisbane.You will be responsible for the day-to-day presentation and overall aesthetic appearance of our beautiful Scape assets in Brisbane.
Key responsibilities include:Daily cleaning of public areas, including using a carpet cleaning machine and floor scrubbing machine in common rooms, lounges, theatre, outdoor terraces, gym, and laundry.Being fully aware of health and safety obligations.Working hours will generally be Mon – Fri, starting between 6am and 8am, with occasional weekend work as required.THE IDEAL CANDIDATEWe are seeking enthusiastic self-starters with the following skills and experience:High attention to detail.Ability to prioritise and multitask.Ability to work in a team or individually.Ability to work with and relate to young adults while maintaining professional and cultural sensitivity.1-2 years' experience as a public area cleaner in a large commercial environment or room attendant in a 4 – 5 star hotel environment.Experience using large machinery, including carpet cleaner and floor scrubber.PERKS & BENEFITSAt Scape, we are all about creating and sharing good vibes.
