The Property Services department services community groups, commercial tenants and internal stakeholders to facilitate community demand for Council facility utilisation. The team also manages acquisitions, divestments, Rights of Ways, Boatsheds, Contaminated land and former landfill sites. The roleWe are seeking a Property Coordinator to join the Property Services team, reporting to the Team Leader, your role is to: Discuss and agree terms and conditions of leases and licences.Liaising with front end user departments within Council and tenants and licence holders in the municipality.Provide technical property advice and prepare property related documentation.Managing ad hoc property enquiries and supporting the community with their property needs About youWe are looking for someone with: A strong knowledge of property management as it applies to acquisitions, divestments, and leasing.The ability the engage with commercial tenants and community groups to discuss the needs of businesses and the community.Liaise with stakeholders to agree terms of conditions of leases and licences.Knowledge of relevant legislation and policy and how to navigate a government/local government structure.Experience in preparing professional reports on proeprty matters.
