About the OPPORTUNITY We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Risk Officer to join our Hunter Class Frigate (HCF) delivery team based at the Osborne Naval Shipyard, SA.
Reporting to the Program Risk Manager, the Project Risk Officer will support the Program risk and opportunity (R&O) management process.
This position provides support in: * Assisting the Program Risk Manager to deliver overall Program Risk & Opportunity objectives * Delivery of accurate and timely R&O reporting requirements * Maintaining the currency of information in the R&O toolset * Providing R&O toolset access and training We embrace flexible work arrangements at BAE Systems Australia, such as working a 9-day fortnight and hybrid working.
Key responsibilities include: * Support the Program Risk Manager in conducting risk reviews, including: * Preparation of risk review agendas * Recording risk review minutes and actions arising * Ensure updates captured in risk toolset in a timely manner * Follow up of actions arising * Work with the Program Risk Manager to deliver monthly Risk & Opportunity Program reporting * Assist with preparation of Risk & Opportunity artefacts * Provide support to periodic Schedule Risk Analysis modelling * Manage requests for risk software access and facilitate toolset training for new users * Provide advice and respond to Risk & Opportunity queries from IPTs About YOU * Capability to identify and solve problems, think critically and innovate * Proven ability to partner with individuals / teams across a number of business areas, to shape and implement business requirements.
* Strong Microsoft Office skills * Current Baseline Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain You may not have specific experience in a risk role previously but may have held a junior project role and have an interest in branching out into risk management.
