We're seeking a suitably qualified Project Manager to oversee a range of infrastructure, construction, and operational projects across the Northern Territory.
This role is pivotal in ensuring projects are executed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.
The Project Manager will be responsible for:
The development and delivery of allocated capital works projects, working within the approved Capital FrameworkEnsuring projects are delivered according to the Capex Delivery Framework and meet stakeholder and regulatory requirements (e.g.
ABC/AEO)Assisting Operations, Property and Commercial Development Managers in delivering projects within defined objectivesManaging projects in line with related business, operational and safety proceduresDeveloping tender and contract documentationManaging design and engineering consultants to develop cost-effective and operationally sound designsMaintaining thorough project documentation including drawings, contracts and correspondenceProviding timely project reports to managementForecasting budgets and providing inputs for the Budget Justification processCommunicating with internal and external stakeholdersManaging contracted works administration per the Capital Projects FrameworkEnsuring contractor compliance with induction, airside and security clearance processesManaging procurement of consultant and contractor servicesDeveloping Project Management plansForecasting cash flows and monitoring expenditureManaging project budgets, raising Purchase Requisitions for approval to allow Purchase Orders to be issued.To be successful, you will have:
Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Construction Management and demonstrated experience of managing projects $10M+ from design through to completion.Experience managing multi-trade contractors and consultants in delivering Civil and Building infrastructure.High level oral and written communication skills.Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Project.Demonstrated ability to adopt proprietary project delivery, financial reporting, and asset management software.Eligible to hold an Aviation Security Identification Card and pass an Australian Federal Police Check.Eligible to become a Member of Engineers Australia or Australian Institute of Project Management.Current NT drivers' licence.Desirable:
