Salary HEW 8 ($112,068 - $126,209) + 17% Superannuation and Flexible Working Arrangements

About the RoleAs the Project Manager, you will hold a key position within the Education & Training Program led by RMIT University, essential to the Australian Composites Manufacturing CRC's successful delivery of its objectives. Reporting to the CRC Education and Training Program Lead, you will be responsible for day-to-day business support operations and will provide leadership in implementing strategies and achieving program goals. This role will deliver administrative support, including but not limited to budget monitoring, project planning, activity coordination, and the management and maintenance of effective operations and processes.
Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in helping the Program Lead establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of the CRC Education & Training Program, with a strong focus on expanding industry engagement, increasing uptake of short courses on composites design and manufacturing, advancing composite industry capability through HDR student commencements, refreshing trade skills training, and promoting gender balance within the HDR Program.
To be successful in this position, you'll have:
Excellent interpersonal communication, teamwork and organisational skills as well as demonstrated capacity to work collaboratively and collegially to manage complex projects and engage multiple stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to effectively coordinate the integration of resources, processes, systems, people and policies, think laterally and provide effective resolution of issues encountered in academia and industry.
Evidence of advanced organisational skills and ability to effectively compile reports including those providing financial oversight.
Demonstrated experience in planning, implementing and reviewing strategic initiatives.
Demonstrated ability to provide professional support for emerging employees such as early career researchers (ECRs) and HDR students.
