Our client is an established and highly regarded development firm that works collaboratively with landowners. They are now seeking an experienced Project Manager / Development Manager to join their professional and highly experienced team based in Sydney.

The project you will be working on is a landmark mixed-use residential master plan and sub-division project with retail, commercial facilities, and a golf course.
You will be reporting to an excellent Senior Development Manager and will have the amazing opportunity to take on a major project from its inception.
Candidates can come from a background of head contracting, client-side PM, or development management. Ideally, the candidate will have a civil engineering background, having undertaken some residential subdivision or other subdivision type of work from the contractor side, and is looking to make the move to the development side.
Years of experience: 3 to 8+ years
Duties include but are not limited to: Leading and managing tendering and procurement of parts of the master planned scheme including golf course, infrastructure, subdivision, and landscape works to contractors and consultants. Leading and coordinating the consultant team. Utilising technical skills such as design management, engineering management, engagement with authorities, environmental management, construction delivery, financial reporting, programming/planning, etc. Attending all meetings with the Senior Development Manager. Ownership of all invoicing and administration tasks. Control the project cash flow/month-end reporting. Manage project design documentation. Ability to review and mark up drawings to provide clear feedback and direction to consultants. Visit site when required. Skills & Experience: 3-8+ years in the industry demonstrating experience ideally with a civil contractor with onsite experience. Relevant Tertiary Qualification in Civil Engineering; may consider Quantity Surveying / Project Management or Construction Management qualifications. Interpretation of technical documents. Understanding design, development, and delivery process of residential and commercial subdivision projects. Previous project delivery experience. Superior communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to take initiative and work self-directed to achieve results. Ability to identify and solve problems if/when they arise. Superior knowledge of MS Office Suite, Word, Excel, etc. This is a permanent full-time position providing a great opportunity to work with an established organisation that offers challenging work.
