Silverstrand is seeking an experienced Civil Planner looking to become a key part in shaping the future of our business alongside an experienced team. You will be based in our Brisbane Head Office and employed on a permanent basis.
About the role: Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
Prepare and manage detailed programs for all stages of our infrastructure projects (pipelines, concrete structures, earthworks, roads, rail & marine).Tender planning – reviewing tender documents, contract requirements, and any other factors affecting project timing.Identify risks, planning and scheduling, risk analysis, and risk management procedures.Preparation of weekly & monthly reports including dashboards, histograms & s-curves to inform key stakeholders.Measure and report program/project performance based on KPIs and earned value analysis.Assisting in delay and disruption assessments against tender programs.Ability to work with the Pre-tender team, Project team, and Post-tender team.Skills & Qualifications required: Minimum 5 years site experience working on infrastructure projects in the civil space.Minimum 3 years experience as a Planner.Demonstrated proficiency with Primavera P6, MS Projects, and MS Office suite – essential.Tender planning would be highly regarded.Exceptional communication skills – the ability to interact, collaborate, and consult with project and site staff to provide information flow on the performance of the planning and controls function.Ability to work across multiple projects at a time.What's on offer: Competitive salary based on the successful candidate's experience.A permanent position with a growing civil construction company.Sponsorship is available for the right candidate.About Us: Silverstrand is a privately owned and operated contractor operating across Australasia since 2008, providing quality delivery in all areas of both civil and structural construction works in metro, regional, and remote areas.
