Join Us and Make an Impact. As a Project Manager, you are responsible for the successful delivery of your assigned project. This requires preparing, planning, executing, and controlling all aspects of the project either directly or through delegation with the project team. Successful delivery requires monitoring and controlling financials, work schedules, resources (including subcontractors), as well as managing the project stakeholders (internal and external). Responsibilities include ownership of the engineering outcomes and project delivery, advising the project manager on technical status, ensuring engineering schedules are met, leading project engineering problem-solving efforts, and delivering engineering for the project in accordance with the project estimate and contract requirements.
What You'll Do: Ensure the Project Team adheres to the high standards of Health and Safety management required by Honeywell and our customers.Maintain overall responsibility for the delivery of complex projects to the required quality, schedule, and budget.Deploy standard methodologies in the delivery and control of projects. Ensure use of Honeywell project processes and tools.Direct the day-to-day operations of the project team.Develop trust and manage the relationship with customers, ensuring a shared understanding of key issues between all parties is maintained, and maintain customer relationships at the appropriate senior level.Manage effective communications with all project stakeholders.Define all subcontract/supply requirements and work with Supply Chain to ensure all subcontractor/supplier contracts and orders are appropriate for the project from a scope/cost and risk viewpoint. Lead or participate in negotiations as necessary.Deliver to the financial objectives for the project and control billing and costs for the project.YOU MUST HAVE: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Information Technology (Preferred).Tertiary qualifications in Project Management are preferred.Further education in management or project management would also be advantageous.Proven experience in project management including budget ownership/management, resource allocation, scheduling, forecasting, and planning.Demonstrated experience in safety and safety management on large commercial and infrastructure projects.Demonstrated project experience involving the delivery of large and complex building management and HVAC systems.Commitment to the development of junior or less experienced staff in the project team.About Us: The world is changing.
