SummaryThe role of Project Manager is responsible for establishing and managing the scope of the project lifecycle for the successful creation of our reprocessing facility.ResponsibilitiesEstablish and manage the full project lifecycle for the creation of an Australian reprocessing facility aligned to our existing facility based in the USA.Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the successful execution of the project.Create a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress against agreed measures, calling upon stakeholder involvement as required.Successfully influence and work with relevant internal and external stakeholders to identify a facility that meets all requirements, including medical and regulatory needs.Work with Finance to ensure adequate resourcing for the project and budget control.Ensure the project is delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.Manage changes to the scope, schedule, and costs.Report and escalate any delays or issues to management as required.Perform risk management to minimize potential risks.Create, organise and maintain relevant business documents and ensure alignment with relevant stakeholders (for example, contracts with Legal team).Communicate detailed project plans with the Leadership team, broader stakeholders and employees.Deployment of machinery, equipment, facilities, and utilitiesRecruiting of human resources, from managers to hourly paid employees for the management of the siteRequirementsTertiary Education in relevant field.Proven experience working in Project Management, with experience preferred in a factory setting.Experience with green field projects including real estate selection, facilities and utilities estimation and implementation.Preferred experience in the Medical or Food industries.Knowledge on Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) measurements against ESG imperatives is desired.Proactive and able to work in a fast-paced changing environment managing competing priorities.Attention to detail, exceptional planning and organizational skills.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Stakeholder management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work with diverse groups internally and externally.Proven influencing skills.Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Demonstrated excellence in written and oral communication with internal and external stakeholdersTime Management skills.Driven with ability to work independently under minimal supervision as well as part of a team.Be willing and able to work flexibly and outside of regular work hours due to time zone differences of internal stakeholders.Travel requiredCandidates who are back-to-work, people with disabilities, without a college degree, and Veterans are encouraged to apply.Cardinal Health supports an inclusive workplace that values diversity of thought, experience and background.We celebrate the power of our differences to create better solutions for our customers by ensuring employees can be their authentic selves each day.Cardinal Health is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, religion, color, national origin, ancestry, age, physical or mental disability, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression, pregnancy, veteran status, marital status, creed, status with regard to public assistance, genetic status or any other status protected by federal, state or local law.
