Epiroc is proud to be working in collaboration with Roy Hill to deliver an Automated Haul Truck Solution (AHS) project which will boost safety, productivity and operations. As leading global mining equipment and services productivity partner, Epiroc in partnership with automation specialist ASI.
The mine automation program is focused on delivering increased safety, reliability, predictability, productivity; and operational excellence. Being a part of this project will be an opportunity to play a key role in the largest OEM-independent haul truck automation project in the world.
The purpose of this role is to carry out project controlling activities ensuring the provision of support to the Project Manager and Program Manager with accountabilities including but not limited to the following:
Analysis of under/over on TOC projects and reportingPreparing various monthly reports including the project overall whole of lifeWorked in a cost plus environment and managing the forecasts accordinglyReporting of control budgets, forecasts and cost commitmentsManaging workload hours and costs for internal and external resourcesMaintenance of the project cost controls systemTimely preparation of project cost and progress reports with analytical performed on major discrepanciesAssist with the timely and accurate allocation of budgets to project documentationAssist team members with re-forecasting and estimating activities to complete project cost forecasts (trending)Assist with the entry and administration of data into the project controls software systemTediously manage multiple deadlines and ability to multi-taskMonitor and report monthly on the main project KPIs including but not limited to costs, revenue, invoicing cash in/outAnalysis earned value with project teamUpdating the project cash flow forecastQualification: Bachelor Degree in Commerce or Project Management or relevant experienceDesirable accounting/finance majorAdvanced MS Excel skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsExperience in project controls/services will be highly desirableEpiroc is an Equal Opportunity Employer and encourages women and Indigenous Australians to apply.
