Project Coordinator (Road Surfacing)

Roadways Group is seeking a dynamic Project Coordinator ideally with road surfacing experience to plan and support the delivery of major road projects across northern Tasmania.
Reporting to the Surfacing Manager – North and based in Burnie, you will be responsible for coordinating works across multiple sites and projects in accordance with individual contracts.
Additionally, you will enjoy the flexibility between office administration and field work.

About the role: Assist in the management of projects to meet safety, costs, time and quality objectives including assistance with works programs, and co-ordination of contractors and sub-contractors and resourcesAssist with identifying and issuing variations to original scope of works and analysis of costsEngagement with all stakeholders to ensure timelines and quality objectives are metAssist with estimates and quotesCreation of accurate scopes of workContract administration and reportingData analysisPromote and display a continued commitment to safetyAbout you: A minimum of 2 years' experience in civil project coordinationStrong data analysis and stakeholder management skills.Relevant tertiary qualifications (desirable) or demonstrated project management experienceAbility to work autonomously and within a team environmentPro-activeness and self-driveStrong time management and organisational skillsStrong communication skills – written and verbalData analytical skillsStrong Microsoft office skills, particularly ExcelCommercial awareness and understandingAbility to read and interpret plans and drawingsIf this sounds like you please hit the 'apply now' button.
