Lead for our CopperString project you will provide crucial support to our project team, facilitating the achievement of key project milestones.In this role, you will play an integral part in our project delivery and control process, ensuring that our projects are executed on time, within budget and to high quality standards.Ensure the project is set-up, monitored and tracked in accordance with Powerlink processes, procedures, policies and complying to the provisions of the Integrated Project Delivery framework.Lead the development and implementation of project specific project control systems, procedures, processes and Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).Lead the development and ongoing maintenance of the overall Contract Master Schedule, then provide project-wide planning, scheduling, trend and progress reporting services.Coordinate the development of up dates of the Project Budget, cost estimating, cost forecasting, cost control, trend and cost reporting services.Ensure budgets are reviewed and correctly allocated to appropriate control accounts prior to baselining, track & monitor actuals and validate accuracy of forecast.Ensure that the overall project control system requirements are incorporated into EPC and other subcontracts.Lead the development and maintain reporting for compliance with the Significant Project Procurement Plan.The community you will join   You will be joining a dedicated, professional and dynamic project delivery team based in our corporate project office in Bowen Hills.CopperString 2032 is the largest ever economic development project in North Queensland, and one of the largest expansions to the power grid in Australia.The CopperString project will build 840 kilometres of transmission line from just south of Townsville in the Burdekin region to Mount Isa with the highest voltage levels in the state.This project will further unlock the renewable energy potential of this region.Your expertise   Degree level qualifications in business or engineering.Experience in successfully leading a Project Controls function and team for major projects.Significant experience in program or project delivery of large-scale infrastructure projects.Demonstrated relevant experience and capability in project and construction services (cost, planning, and estimating and document control) gained in an infrastructure environment.Demonstrated experience overseeing and improving the application of digital engineering tools for infrastructure construction projects.Understand relevant industry and quality standards, e.g., BIM Concepts and Standards (ISO19650).Understand project management & project services techniques and methodologies at the project lifecycle, i.e., cost, schedule & change management, risk analysis, document management and reporting.Understand of cost terminology, budget allocation, WBS, SOW, and change management and a strong understanding of financial and risk management principles.We'd also love you to have:  High attention to detail, with excellent analytical skills and the ability to detect data inaccuracies.Exceptional stakeholder management, influencing and communication skills.Be the start of
