The Rural Locum Assistance Program (LAP) combines the Rural Obstetric and Anaesthetic Locum Scheme. (ROALS), the Nursing and Allied Health Rural Locum Scheme (NAHRLS) and the Rural Locum Education Assistance Program (Rural LEAP). This is a full time, fixed term (12 months) contract position based in Canberra. Manage the day to day recruitment and HR Administrative processes as the Program Officer. Reporting to the Program Manager the key duties include: Sourcing and placing candidates to allocated projects in a timely manner. Collaborate with the credentialling coordinator to monitor the approval requirements for the allocated Locum. Implement and improve administrative procedures. Attend conferences as required. Monitor and respond to recruitment enquiries. Coordinate travel, accommodation and other relevant requirements for all Locums via the Rural LAP Logistics and Travel Coordinator. Prepare contracts and ensure the coordination, distribution and collection of employee documentation. As the successful candidate you will have: Experience in Human Resources and or similar field. Administration Experience. Strong IT Skills, Microsoft Office and computer knowledge.
