Labour hire contract until June 2025 with scope for 2 x 12 month extension Negative Vetting 1 Security Clearance is required Knowledge in infrastructure, strategic policy and/or development cooperation About The RoleOur Federal Government client is seeking a Program Management officer at the APS 6 level to join their Infrastructure Policy and Engagement Section.
Position will manage Official Development Assistance (ODA) programs and grants that support quality, sustainable, resilient infrastructure across the Indo-Pacific.
DutiesManage the department's programs and grants that support infrastructure across the Indo-Pacific which may include infrastructure quality, media development and digital connectivity programs.Managing grant contributions to the Coalition for Disaster Resilient Infrastructure's Infrastructure for Resilient Island States Initiative (CDRI IRIS), Pacific Regional Infrastructure Facility (PRIF) and Blue Dot Network (BDN).Ensuring programs meet requirements as set out in the Aid Programming Guide and other relevant requirements including the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013.Working closely with the Infrastructure Fellowships and Engagement Program manager and other IFB staff to effectively support the department's international engagement on infrastructure.Skills & ExperienceFoundational level knowledge in infrastructure, strategic policy and/or development cooperation.Experience in international development and/or experience in the Australian Government.Policy development and/or program management technical capabilities.This opportunity is within the Australian Public Service.
