See details below:About the Role:Our client is looking to recruit a Production Technician who will assemble and test company products.
This role would work on established products as well as work with the Tech Team on the testing and development of products in various stages of R+D.
The candidate will need a wholistic understanding of the technology at hand and experience with electronics and RF is preferred.
This role will involve hand soldering and experience in soldering cables and PCBAs is required.The position will report primarily to the VP of Design and will work closely with other members of the Production Team, Design Team and the Procurement Team.

Their technical pursuits require us to take advantage of the absolute latest in technology and best practices to remain competitive.Responsibilities:Assemble products and closely follow build documentationTest products using a variety of test equipment such as VNAs and spectrum analysersFill out travellers and QC records during assemblySoldering of PCBA components during production or for R+DAssembly of cablesTroubleshoot problems with electronics and clearly communicate issues to others within the businessDesign test jigs for products to improve assembly efficiencyAssist the Tech Team with anechoic chamber testingQualifications:Experience in electronics assemblyExperience with RF equipment and testing preferredDegree in Engineering or relevant certification as a technician (IPC certified or trained)SMT soldering experienceAbility to follow complex assembly and testing instructionsPassionate about technologyExcellent attention to detailAbility to work autonomously and as part of a fast-paced teamRespect and appreciation of process, doing the right thing even if no-one is watchingStrong ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and handle pressureClear communication (both verbal and written) with team members"Can do" attitude and willingness to help in variety of tasks, including occasional tasks unrelated to the core roleSuitable to hold a security clearance if requiredSalary: $65,000 - $70,000 a year#J-18808-Ljbffr
