About The Role We are looking for a proven results focussed Production Manager to lead and manage our manufacturing plant based in Willetton, Perth.
The role covers all aspects of the operations, including safety, people management, process management, quality, productivity, technical, maintenance and continuous improvement.  
Managing the day-to-day activities of the Operations function including production, maintenance, quality, procurement, logistics and warehousingProviding strong leadership with exceptional planning and organising skills to ensure critical targets and deadlines are metProviding efficient management, oversight and review of all resources, including personnel, technical and material to achieve optimum profitability over the budget yearForecasting labour requirements and providing recommendations and changes to equipment, work layout, production methods and material handling proceduresDeveloping high performing teams with a focus on 'continuous improvement'Driving a 'safety first' culture with open communication ensuirng best practice and compliance across all operational areas. The ideal candidate will be results oriented with a hands on approach and a sense of responsibility and ownership. You will bring strong technical knowledge; operating with a high level of structure, energy & autonomy and the ability to work in cross functional teams.
You will have demonstrated leadership skills, with a focus on coaching and developing the team to be the best they can be to ensure the consistent achievement of production, quality and cost targets, while also keeping an eye on the bigger picture. We are seeking candidates with experience in an operational management role within production, manufacturing or related industries.
