About This Opportunity
Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, this role will be responsible for managing fill and packaging activities to ensure compliance to quality, cost, customer requirements and specifications while maintaining a safe work environment.
Key accountabilities include:
Lead, coach, and empower a diverse team, cultivating a supportive and inclusive work environment. Ensure coaching, feedback, and training is provided to enhance individual and team performance. Promote a culture of safety first, accountability, recognition, proactive problem solving and continuous learning. Encourage collaboration and teamwork across other departments including processing, maintenance, quality and logistics. Optimise filling and packaging of products in terms of quantity, quality and deadlines. Work with key stakeholders and departments to reduce costs and optimise operating budgets.
About you:
Ability to lead, coach, develop and manage teams and improve engagement Ability to resolve conflict and drive change Knowledge of Agri-food or FMCG industry Understanding of production management, organisation and planning, and problem solving methods Good financial acumen Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Degree qualification in management preferred Certificate IV in Food Processing preferred
The successful candidate must be energetic and a leader who enjoys coaching their team. You will be motivated and driven to deliver on business objectives and be pro-active when it comes to safety and continuous improvement initiatives.
