You will be well supported, we are partnered with major insurers and can ensure a steady stream of work, Monday to Friday with overtime on occasion, for those who are looking for more.The OpportunityWe have an exciting opportunity for a Workshop/ Production Manager to join our team at Wells Bodyworks & Towing, Hobart.You will be supporting the Centre Manager and managing and guiding production staff within the workshop. Develop and progress your automotive leadership skills.Permanent position. Monday to Friday.Role ResponsibilitiesEnsure the site remains a safe working environment for all staffProcess vehicles upon arrivalAssist with the ordering and receipting of parts, paint and consumablesManage the repair process to ensure timely, cost-effective quality repairs are carried outManage the production of the site to meet the set productivity targets and customer expectationsAssist in the management of the site to ensure profitability and customer satisfactionOversee the housekeeping within the workshopMinimum RequirementsPrevious experience in a similar management role within the collision repair industryExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to set and adhere to deadlinesDemonstrated ability to problem-solveStrong organisational skills and the ability to delegate tasksProficient in the use of all Microsoft Office applications, in particular ExcelThe ability to motivate, manage and get the best out of your teamStrong commitment to work in a safe mannerBe reliable, punctual & hardworkingBenefitsReward & recognitionCareer development and trainingReferral bonus for recommending a friend to work with usDiscounts on parts and toolsUniforms24/7 professional counselling for Team members and their immediate familiesWe champion our Team, because it's our people that set us apart and drive our business' success.
