INPEX are seeking a Production Manager to join our Operations team in Darwin on a permanent contract.

The Production Manager will be responsible for providing leadership for the Production Team at the Ichthys LNG facility.
Key responsibilities include: Ensure Safety, including both Process Safety and Occupational Health and Safety, is reinforced as the highest priority consideration in conducting plant operations.
Responsible for the operations input into development and delivery of production budget (Minor CAPEX, direct chemicals, headcount, consultants, maintenance) and the ongoing monitoring of spend.
Accountable for the performance and development of direct reports.
Accountable for identifying and driving Operations business improvement opportunities.
Responsible for developing and meeting key performance indicators (HSE, Integrity, Cost, Production, People).
Accountable for the management and coordination of Area priorities, providing direction to Engineering and Maintenance Teams.
Accountable for compliance with all legislative and regulatory requirements as defined in asset Safety Case, Environmental Plan, INPEX HSEQ Standards including PSM, Regulatory and Statutory requirements and the GSRs.
Accountable for the management of breakdown/trip recovery.
Accountable for compliance to INPEX WMS processes, including ISSo W, SCE management and accuracy of critical operations documentation, including procedures.
Responsible for the approval and implementation of modifications and deviations in accordance with the Management of Change process.
Accountable for the safe operation to meet production targets within the defined Technical Integrity envelope.
Accountable for aspects of Integrity Management including the evaluation and reporting of conditions against the performance standard, integrity envelope, reviewing post-incident / legislative or JV requirements and planning and executing planned inspections.
Accountable for Permit to Work governance, processes and permit requirements.
Prepare single and multiyear operating budgets for LNG plant for submission as part of overall Ichthys work Plan and Budget cycles.
Ensure adequate funding is secured for execution of HSE and plant integrity related activities.
Reinforce cost management disciplines and identify and ensure appropriate challenge of discretionary spending and continuous improvement processes to yield greater cost effectiveness.
Responsible for the integration of production and business planning.
Successful candidates will have: Demonstrated experience in operation of significant hydrocarbon facilities, including LNG facility (preferred), and direct experience in management or senior supervisory position (supervisor and/or management positions).
Deep understanding of Operations Management Systems and processes.
Deep understanding of Process Safety and Environmental requirements.
Ability to understand long and short-term operational requirements and to develop and implement appropriate business solutions/strategies.
Ability to influence and earn credibility across all levels of the organisation.
Ability to lead multiple teams.
Demonstrate positive influence on teams and the wider organisation.
Technical Degree, Trade certificate or equivalent operator certification (PMA Cert 4 or equivalent).
