Ulan West Underground Mine is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Production Manager to provide proactive management, direction, and visible leadership throughout the mine. Working as part of a multi-disciplinary Senior Leadership Team, your key areas of focus are production performance, safety, continuous improvement, and the delivery of results through your process teams.
Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you will:
Deliver planned levels of performance through your process teams;Execute maintenance strategies developed by the Engineering Department;Align performance and planning processes to the longer-term strategy of the mine;Champion the health and safety leadership matrix.To be successful in this role, you will:
Hold leadership experience in an underground statutory position and/or tertiary qualifications in Mining Engineering or a related discipline;NSW Undermanager Certificate of Competency;Mining Engineering Manager Certificate of Competency would be highly desirable;Have an excellent understanding of current NSW Coal Mining & WHS Statutory obligations, legislation, and regulations;Demonstrate a passion for visible leadership;Inspire and empower your team to drive positive outcomes.This exciting role offers a challenging and rewarding career, along with an attractive remuneration and benefits package.
