About The Opportunity
As Production Manager, you will oversee the operational activities of the greenhouse to ensure the production and growth of high-quality insectary plants. You will also provide operational support in developing a range of biological agents.
Areas Of Responsibility Include
Maintaining greenhouse and laboratory systems in full working order and adjust as necessary to keep all plants/cultures in optimum conditionMaintain relevant stock levels of inputs and order as required in advance of intended useInvestigate and review the utilisation of personnel, facilities, equipment and materials, current operational processes, and established practices, to recommend improvement in the efficiency of operationsLiaise with QC staff weekly regarding the quality and quantity of all organisms produced, with any issues reportedOversee weekly packaging and distribution of ordersKeep accurate records of weekly cultures and harvest resultsSupervision of all Insectary & Greenhouse Staff including monitoring performance and conducting performance reviews
About You
You will have a genuine interest in working for an organisation that positively contributes to environmentally sound horticultural practice, as well as the entomological operations of the company.
You are highly accountable for your own outcomes and those of your team. You demonstrate leadership capability including communicating effectively at all levels of the organisation, with an energetic and enthusiastic approach. You will be a role model regarding professionalism, punctuality, presentation, housekeeping, and compliance with company processes.

Your tertiary qualifications, certification, and experience qualify you as a Production ManagerYou bring significant experience assisting with developing improvement strategies for improving yield and qualityYou can demonstrate experience providing advice on general farming and horticultural managementYour general computer literacy is at an intermediate levelYou have a current driver's licence and have or be willing to apply for a National Police Records check
