Simplot Devonport is amongst the last producers of scale of frozen vegetables in Australia and has a proud history in the local community since 1942. We employ over 300 people and process products including peas, beans, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower and onions that are grown by our local Tasmanian growers and pride ourselves on providing premium quality products to our customers.
Reporting to the Process Area Manager and commencing early February 2025, these casual roles will work as part of a busy production team in the processing of farm fresh, locally grown brassica vegetables (broccoli, cauliflower, brussel sprouts) into market leading frozen vegetable products that Australians love to enjoy.
With attractive base hourly rates of $37.83 p/h (incl. of 25% casual loading), the Production Brassica season will run until approx. July / August 2025 (harvest yield dependent).
Day shift: 0650 - 1500hrs
Afternoon shift: 1450 - 2300hrs
Night shift: 1050 - 0700hrs
What You Will DoWorking within a food manufacturing environment, the Production Brassica Operator will undertake duties including (but not limited to):
