About the role:As a Product Owner at Tyro you will be responsible for driving the delivery, backlog, and prioritisation of our In-store payments roadmap, acting as the voice of the customer to delivery teams, and working closely with the Product Manager and Engineering Lead to ensure alignment with the strategic direction and product vision.
What you'll do:Act as the primary point of contact for the development team, providing guidance and direction as needed.Develop and maintain the product backlog, ensuring that it is up-to-date and prioritised based on business value.Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and define product features and functionality.Work with the Delivery Lead to facilitate the delivery process and ensure that the team is working efficiently and effectively.Prioritise product features and create user stories for development.Be the voice of the customer and ensure that their needs are being met through the development process.Work with development teams to ensure that product features are delivered on time and within budget.Conduct user research and testing to validate product features and functionality.What you'll bring:Previous experience working as a Product Owner within the payments space or on payment products.Deep understanding of payment trends, best practices, and technologies.Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and deliver projects on time and within budget.Analytical mindset with the ability to gather and interpret data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering revenue growth.Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across teams.Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality products that meet customer needs and exceed expectations.Perks and BenefitsWe've worked hard to create an environment that's big on diversity, inclusion, and flexibility, and one that suits the changing needs of our people across Australia.
