About the Role: As a Procurement Supplier Compliance Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the University's commitment to sustainable procurement, with a focus on ethical sourcing, modern slavery prevention, and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct due diligence on suppliers to ensure compliance with modern slavery and ESG standards.
Assist in tracking and reporting supplier compliance activities.
Support procurement projects to achieve ethical sourcing and sustainability objectives.
Collaborate with internal teams to enhance and streamline compliance processes.
What We're Looking For: Experience & Knowledge: Familiarity with procurement practices  Ideally knowledge of the Modern Slavery Act.
Similar experience working in Procurement  Skills: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Effective communication and collaborative team player.
