Overview of the role This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has a minimum of 2 years' procurement/contract administration experience, to work for one of the largest Insurers in Australia. You will be working with a highly experienced procurement team where you will learn, network and be mentored in procurement and have exposure to all levels of the business to take your career to the next level.
The Procurement Officer (known internally as a Procurement Consultant) will be a key support for the procurement leaders, enabling the end to end procurement process for the team. This includes full lifecycle management for content in relation to the procurement policy, framework and procurement process as well as group-related compliance and initiatives (including supporting the Group's sustainability goals).
You will have exposure across a wide range of procurement areas enabling you to broaden your skills and take your procurement career to the next level.
What you'll do: As a key support for the Procurement Leaders, you will be responsible for using, and making improvements to, procurement process, systems, tools, template and framework libraries including:
