Procurement Excellence Manager - Sydney

About the role GrainCorp is currently seeking a Procurement Excellence Manager.
This role will ideally be based out of the International Towers on the harbour foreshore of Barangaroo at one of Australia's most progressive workspaces and one of the world's most sustainable commercial precincts.

The role is offered on a hybrid working pattern - however, flexibility will be key in this position.
You will report directly to the General Manager, Procurement.
The objective is to drive cost-effective procurement practices, optimizing spending, and achieving significant cost reductions.
Responsibilities include: Being part of the creation of strategy for procurement processes and technology adoption Effective internal and external stakeholder management Managing Supplier performance and relationship management Leadership to Procurement Specialist

Your experience Our successful candidate will come to us with proven experience as a Procurement Specialist - we are open to industry however Manufacturing would be highly regarded.
Other key skills we are looking for include: An ability to naturally influence - you will engage stakeholders with ease and negotiate successfully Have previously used a range of procurement tools and technologies Process design and improvement - ability to design processes that support business requirements Project Management - Implement and promote transformation programmes
