About the company Government department tasked with making life easier, accessible, and equitable for thousands of individuals and families across Australia. Currently seeking a Procurement Officer to join their busy team for a 12-month temporary assignment. About the role As a Procurement Officer, you will provide level administrative support to the Procurement team, managing confidential and sensitive information. In addition, your key duties are as follow: - Providing procurement advice and support to the broader Agency in compliance with the Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs) and Guidelines - Assisting with tracking value for money based outcomes and preparing reports against KPIs - Drafting correspondence and reports, including emails and letters. - Preparing a range of procurement related documentation - Entering, extracting, and manipulating data to enable accurate Agency reporting About you To be successful in this role, you must have: - Demonstrated understanding federal government procurement processes. - Strong Stakeholder engagement and communication skills. - Intermediate understanding of the MS Office Suite. - Demonstrated experience managing high volume requests and ability to multitask. - Ability to remain composed in a changing, fast paced environment - Previous experience using Procurement, HR and/or Finance business systems is desirable Benefits - 12-month temporary assignment - Full-time hours, Monday to Friday - $55.24 per hour + super - Immediate start pending clearances - Brisbane, QLD location *** Please note the successful candidate for the role must hold Australian Citizenship and be willing to complete federal police check ***
