Processing Plant Manager

NOVA Partners Executive Search & Selection Industry: Mining - Processing (Mining, Resources & Energy) Employment Type: Full time A truly exciting chance to be involved in the recommissioning and managing the daily operations of a mineral processing plant in Far North Queensland.
Reporting to the GM Operations, you will lead and oversee a technical team across plant operations, driving HSE, plant performance, and a fresh new culture within the new launch of this group in Australia.
The mine is well funded and nearing production stage, with a highly experienced executive team based on site and from their Brisbane head office location.
Critical metrics around production, recovery yield, and quality processes and systems are key to success in this role and supporting your peers across the wider mining operation.

Critically, this is a senior role, and will lead and live these values, and engage with all internal and external stakeholders, building constructive and outcome-focused relationships.
As part of your role, you will collaborate with other departments, including mining, environmental, and site services, to ensure seamless operations and with a key focus on compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
Ideally, your background is in metallurgical mining, leading a mining processing plant, fixed plant maintenance, and laboratory management.
Remuneration is competitive, with incentives being developed to reward this operational management role, as well as long-term incentives post-production commencement.
You will be on a preferred roster (5/2, 4/3) and align with other key managers to ensure leadership and SSE/HSE is covered across the rotation of all staff.
