We are seeking a dedicated and experienced nurse to join the team at Alice Springs Correctional Centre.
This role offers a rare opportunity to provide critical healthcare services in a secure facility, ensuring the well-being of individuals in custody.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive nursing care to individuals in a custodial setting.
Perform health assessments, manage acute and chronic conditions, and respond to medical emergencies.
Collaborate with correctional staff and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care.
Maintain accurate and confidential medical records.
Uphold professional and ethical standards in a secure environment.
Skills and experience Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
4–5 years of post-graduate experience (experience in Primary Health or corrections highly regarded).
Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
