Principal Project Officer, Department Of Housing

• Leading and coordinating the design, development, implementation and evaluation of projects and initiatives supporting the person-centred human service and integrated service delivery, including opportunities for co-design.• Monitoring and reporting of project related trends and performance against project plans and schedules including developing new reporting tools and visualisations such as project dashboards.• Contribute to multi-disciplinary and cross-functional teams to leverage resources and technical expertise, identify solutions and deliver the department's operational and strategic outcomes.• Manage human, physical and financial resources in accordance with relevant legislation, strategic objectives, Queensland Government and departmental policies.• Develop and implement project plans for projects and apply an agile project management methodology to deliver timely, high quality project outcomes, managing risks and emerging issues, and identifying opportunities for improvement.• Build, maintain and support collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders• Build on contemporary knowledge of housing and homelessness policy and practice to undertake advanced research and analysis aimed at identifying and resolving complex policy and operational issues.• Deliver persuasive briefs, presentations and reports, underpinned by analysis, contextual awareness and stakeholder consultation.• Contribute to a positive team culture, focused on collaboration, communication and cultural capability, including First Nations people.• Support and help maintain a workplace safety culture by ensuring that all policies and practices concerning Workplace Health and Safety are applied and a part of day to day operations.Applications to remain current for 12 months.
