Position Overview: National Logistics Manager Location: Adelaide, South Australia A leading Australian company within the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry is seeking a highly experienced National Logistics Manager to oversee and optimize their national warehousing and distribution network across Australia and New Zealand.
This pivotal role ensures the efficient and cost-effective distribution of products, driving the company's goals and objectives in alignment with their strategic vision.

Reporting To: Chief Operating Officer Hours of Work: Average 45 hours per week General Hours: Monday to Thursday: 7:30 am – 4:15 pm Friday: 7:30 am – 2:15 pm Key Duties & Responsibilities The National Logistics Manager will lead all national warehousing and logistics operations, ensuring seamless distribution processes and optimal performance across regions.
Key responsibilities include: Leadership & Accountability: Manage end-to-end supply chain processes, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely distribution.
Oversee national warehouse performance and maintain high service levels.
Lead initiatives to improve logistics systems and drive operational efficiency.
National Distribution & Logistics: Manage and optimize the National Distribution and Logistics System, including methods, costing, contract negotiations, and delivery efficiencies.
Implement strategic changes at the national level, in consultation with the Chief Operating Officer.
Ensure compliance with environmental, hygiene, and safety regulations.
Collaboration & Support: Provide support to the Warehouse Supervisor and coordinate efforts to enhance warehouse and distribution operations.
Liaise with all relevant departments to ensure seamless product flow and address potential problem areas.
Manage the national distribution network to handle fluctuations in demand.
Qualifications A minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management, preferably within the FMCG industry.
Strong knowledge of distribution methods, MRP systems, planning, and cost management.
Proven leadership abilities and excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
