This is a great opportunity for someone with climate change policy and agriculture industry experience to provide high quality advice to the senior executives and the Minister for Agriculture. Climate Change and Transition Policy is a collaborative and high performing policy team, which prides itself on providing high quality, responsive policy analysis and advice to the Minister and executives.Looking for an experienced policy analyst with government experience who is experienced in climate change or emissions reduction policy and wants to make a difference for the agriculture sector.The Policy Analyst will prepare high quality policy analysis and advice, and support program management for key emissions reduction projects related to the agriculture sector including through national fora. This role has the potential to inform and influence state and national policy and programs.Specialist/Technical Expertise/QualificationsTertiary education in any of the following fields would be well regarded: economics, climate change policy or science, agriculture or public policy.This is a fixed term position available for a period of 12 months.
