Our City Works team is looking for two self-motivated, hardworking and experienced individuals to fill the position of Plant Operator. The role involves undertaking construction and maintenance of the City's roads, car parks, drainage and shared paths infrastructure in a safe, efficient and cost-effective manner and to agreed quality standards.
To be successful in this role you will have:
Experience in road, car park, drainage and shared path construction Practical experience with the operation of road construction equipment, tools and plant Roller Operator's Accreditation Certificate Loader Operator's Accreditation Certificate Tracked Skid Steer Operators Accreditation Certificate Current unrestricted "HR" (Heavy Rigid) class national driver's licence Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications. Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment medical that includes drug and alcohol testing In addition to the above, the following will be highly regarded:
Current certificate in Basic Worksite Traffic Management (desirable) Current Traffic Controller accreditation (desirable) Chainsaw Operator Ticket (desirable) Current Senior First Aid Certificate (desirable) Excavator and Watercart Ticket (desirable) The finer details This fulltime Level 3 position attracts a salary range of $70,333 - $72,950 gross per annum dependent on qualifications and experience.
