The role
Adbri Masonry currently has an opportunity for a Plant Manager to join our team looking after our Nowra production facility. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this is your opportunity to become an integral team member at one of Australia's leading construction materials producers.
With a strong focus on quality and continuous improvement, you will lead by example and foster an organisational culture of integrity, commitment and pride within your small, close-knit team. This role will provide you with the scope to deliver important short and long-term improvements, which are critical for our ongoing growth and profitability of the business.

Responsibilities
Promote and lead a safe working environment
Provide management and site/plant guidance and leadership
Plan, schedule and deliver quality products to market in a timely manner
Manage and control raw materials/finished goods ensuring the business unit meets budgetary requirement
Administer and manage all reporting via SAP business system
Strong people management skills with the ability to lead staff, allocate tasks, coach, monitor and mentor
Ability to engage teams to create a can-do attitude and CI expectation.
Ability to work effectively unsupervised, while also able to lead and work within a team environment.
Compliance to all training requirements/management
Good communication processes through team communication meetings/toolbox meetings
What you will need to succeed
Experience in managing a manufacturing/production facility
Strong leadership, administration and communications skills
Self-motivated and enthusiastic individual with strong decision-making ability
Be able to identify opportunities for improved operational efficiencies
Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational and problem-solving skills
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
