Position: Plant Fitter (Workshop)Location: Swindon, GloucestershireSalary: £35,000 - £40,000 (OTE)Monday FridayAre you a skilled and experienced Plant Fitters looking for a new opportunity to showcase your expertise? We are currently seeking motivated and dedicated individuals to join our client s team as a Plant Fitter.The Position: Conducting regular maintenance and servicing of plant machinery (diggers, dumpers, excavators) , ensuring optimal performance and safety.Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults.Carrying out inspections and scheduled checks to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns.Collaborating with the maintenance team to plan and execute maintenance schedules efficiently.Assisting in the installation and commissioning of new mechanical plant equipment. What we need from you: Proven experience as a Plant Fitter or a related role in.Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical equipment, including but not limited to pumps, compressors, and heavy machinery.Strong understanding of health and safety regulations in the workplace.Ability to read technical manuals and interpret engineering drawings.Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance tasks.A relevant technical qualification in mechanical engineering or a related field.
