The People, Sustainability & Culture (PS&C) business unit within AMP is accountable for the delivery of human resource services.

This role is crucial to the AMP Advice and Operations team, handling daily employee advice and operational tasks as directed.
It involves interacting with employees to clarify queries, execute service requests, and draft employment contracts and letters using established templates.
Additionally, the role focuses on proposing and leading process improvements to enhance service quality.
It also manages changes from new technologies or processes, ensuring smooth transitions and operational efficiency.
How you will make an impact

Provide advice to employees on HR related matters which is aligned to AMP Policies and processes.
Efficiently handle and resolve employee Help Desk service requests, ensuring adherence to SLAs.
Draft employee contracts and letters based on pre-defined templates.
Participate and contribute to continuous process improvement projects and business projects where P&C Advice & Operations' team support is required.
Pay dispute resolution by analysing and addressing pay disputes or pay discrepancies raised by employees and providing clear and timely clarifications to employees.
Escalate Tier 2 (Internal Payroll Team or People Technology Team) queries where required, and ensure queries are resolved in a timely manner (escalation management).

What you will bring to the role
1 to 2 years of experience in HR Operations, employee relations or payroll preferably in a financial institution organisation.
Experience in dealing directly with employees and providing HR-related service or support.
Proficient in Microsoft office 365 like (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) Relevant degree or diploma in Human resources or Industrial relations.
Experience as an end user of Tier 1 HR technology solutions like Oracle, PeopleSoft or Workday is desirable.

We are seeking a candidate with exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with all stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of Australian payroll and employee legislation.
Additionally, they should possess a good working knowledge of Tier-1 HR technology solutions like Oracle, PeopleSoft, or Workday.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a genuine interest in building a career in Human Resources and be committed to delivering excellent customer service.
They should exhibit excellent technical, analytical, and organisational skills, along with a high standard of integrity, judgment, and ethical behaviour.
