Coles Group Limited is seeking a talented Payroll Business Analyst to join our team and support all brands across our diverse portfolio, including Supermarkets, Liquor, Coles Services, Distribution Centres, Retail Ready Operations Australia (RROA), and Chef Fresh.About the RoleAs a Payroll Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in delivering our Payroll strategy, to ensure our 120,000 team members across Australia are paid accurately on time, every time.
Reporting to the Payroll Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for providing high-quality documentation support, driving payroll initiatives, conducting internal deep dive reviews, improving ways of working, and implementing stronger internal controls to reduce the overall risk profile.In this exciting role, you will drive continuous improvement across the payroll landscape and play a pivotal part across a diverse range of initiatives aimed at enhancing pay accuracy to create a seamless experience for our team members.

PowerPoints, Word and Visio), including for corporate systems teams.Drive forward payroll initiatives and conduct internal deep dive reviews on key topic areas.Improve ways of working, such as centralisation, and implement stronger internal controls.Collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless payroll processes.Ideally you will have:5+ years in process improvement, business analysis, and change management in large organisations.Knowledge of payroll practices, systems, and methodologies.High-quality documentation skills (PowerPoint, Word & Excel).Ability to solve complex problems and align decisions with business strategies and compliance requirements.Strong interpersonal and organisational skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects under pressure.Excellent communication skills for various audiences, including senior stakeholders.Broad problem-solving approach and negotiation skills.Risk management mindset.System requirements documentation and process mapping.Preferably experienced in HR Systems, specifically SAP SuccessFactors.What's in it for you?Flexible working options: We know that work is only one part of your life, so we actively encourage a positive work-life balance and provide hybrid working options to help you achieve it.Office perks: Take advantage of our gym facility and fitness classes, free parking, BBQ area, mini-Coles supermarket, fooderie hub where you can sample new products before they hit the shelves, school holiday program and so much more when you come in.Discounts: Eligible team members receive 5% discount all year round on your Supermarket and Liquor online and in-store purchases.
