Exciting opportunity for an experienced Payroll and Recruitment Co-ordinator, full time, permanent Your new company H ays are proud to be partnering with a well-established agricultural company who operate in multiple locations in Australia, with the head office in the Launceston area. T hey have the need for an experienced Payroll and Recruitment Co-ordinator to join their team on a permanent basis, full-time hours due to growth. Your new role As the Payroll and Recruitment Co-ordinator, you'll report to the HR Manager and your core responsibility will be to provide support for; All compliance and immigration related issues, keep abreast of changes in regulations and guidelines. Complete and maintain all payroll related activities; maintain employee records, and establishing and documenting best practices for all contract and permanent based staff. Assist with the implementation of a new and improved payroll system in early March and opportunities to build and established processes in Payroll and Recruitment. Recruitment of workers in Australia. The position will communicate and coordinate with their overseas recruitment Manager. Respond to any payroll enquires and resolve any payroll discrepancies Any other adhoc payroll or HR/recruitment related tasks required What you'll need to succeed As the successful candidate, you'll have demonstrated experience in similar HR/payroll positions, excellent communication skills (Both written and verbal), and a proven track record working in a varied busy environment where you have developed the ability to work well under pressure. To be successful in the role you must be able to: interpret and apply awards and government policies/guidelines. Develop and implement processes to ensure the timely and accurate processing of payroll and recruitment, including answering and investigating payroll questions. Analyse reporting and take corrective actions. Provide advice to managers, supervisors and workers in relation to payroll and recruitment. Facilitate recruitment including advertising, participating in interviews and selection processes. Engage with workers, particularly those for whom English is a second language, in a friendly and open manner.
