Veterinary Dermatology Clinic – Canberra ACTAre you a passionate and energetic vet nurse seeking an exciting opportunity?
VDC is expanding its team and looking for a skilled nurse to join us in Canberra.
While experience in a busy referral or GP practice is essential, no previous dermatology experience is required—we'll provide all the training you need!This is a part-time, clinic-based role, working Monday and Tuesday (19 hours per week during business hours).
If you're ready for a rewarding role where you'll make a real impact, we'd love to hear from you!What We're Looking For:Certificate IV in Veterinary NursingIdeally 3-5 years of clinical experience (but we highly value hard work and a positive attitude)Strong communication skills—both written and verbalTeam player mentalityA Driver's LicenseYour Responsibilities:Assisting with patient admissions and discharges for consultations and proceduresVenipuncture and IV catheter placementsPreparing and administering medications under specialist guidanceMonitoring anaesthesiaAssisting with intradermal allergy testing, bee/wasp venom testing, video-otoscopy, and skin biopsiesFollowing up with clients post-consultationWhat We Offer:Above award wagesFun paid team activities throughout the year (How about an electric bike tour through Murrumbateman's wineries or a Paint & Pinot session in the Southern Highlands?
