Your Opportunity

A Part Time Cafe Counter Assistant plays a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operation of a cafe. We are looking for an experienced front of house assistant with a little work in the kitchen.
Taking orders, operating cash register and POS StationService of hot and cold beverages and food items.Preparing and serving coffee, tea, and other beverages.Operating espresso machines and ensuring quality drinks.Supporting all aspects of food preparation, quality control, and food display.Ensuring adequate stock levels of supplies and consumables for Cafe area and stock rotation.Maintain cleanliness and hygiene within the Cafe and all areas pertaining to the Cafe ensuring food handling and health and safety guidelines are met.Remove food scraps, empty and clean Cafe bins, and wash, dry, and store all crockery and utensils in order to provide a safe and hygienic work environment.Strip, clean, reassemble and maintain all food preparation and cooking appliances.Ensure day to day activities align with business operation as directed by your supervisor.About You Previous experience in the same type of roleCommitted to a Part Time roleA Visa that is valid until January 2025 if applicableAll certificates and tickets required for food preparation and serviceCan start immediately and stay for the entire contract and understand that there is no work during school holidaysStrong team player and fantastic communication skillsTo Apply
