Our Brisbane Office is looking for a dedicated Paralegal/Junior Legal Practitioner to join our Family Law Team.
As a Paralegal, you will provide high-quality support services in a busy team environment, and/or as a Junior Legal Practitioner, you will provide Paralegal duties and legal assistance to clients primarily in the Family Law jurisdiction (including Protection and Domestic Violence matters). This role allows for an administratively skilled worker who is studying Law, Paralegal, Justice, or Legal Studies (or is newly admitted) to work alongside qualified Legal Practitioners in a mentoring and team-based approach.
Ideally, this position suits candidates who are newly enrolled in Law and can study part-time, or who are studying or have achieved an Associate Diploma in Paralegal Studies, plus two years' professional work experience. Your strong organisational, administrative, and support skills will be a distinct advantage. Newly or nearly admitted candidates must be aware that considerable paralegal duties using information technology and in-person service form the bulk of this role.
Our Workforce Development Strategy will enable you to undertake both team and formal training to succeed. We will interview promptly and look to candidates who can commence within seven weeks of interview.
Please apply now, online, entering your responses and uploading your current Resume. No extra letter is required at this stage. You must be able to upload your Identification and any Certificates/Qualification testamur after the interview in order to receive an Offer of Employment.
